Secure Folder:
This is one of the best options to save all kinds of files on your iPhone. You can move photos into folders or immediately snap and save them in a safe place.
In addition, you can save all types of files – including rename, move or delete whenever you want.
There’s also support for Dropbox and Google Drive so you can backup to the cloud. But, you can never forget your password (there is no way to recover it).

If the previous version is free, there is a paid option called Secure Folder Pro. The price is €1.99, but it is definitely worth it if you want an even more secure application.
You can save everything from files to photos, through notes or even contacts. In addition, you have a browser within the application to search for everything.
There is also the option to create fake passwords to hide the real information and if someone tries to enter you will receive a notice with the location and information of the person who did so.
Photo Vault:
If you just want to save or hide photos and videos, this is a good choice. You can save and manipulate these formats on your iPhone or iPad.
You also have the chance to edit within the application and send the photos via email or through messages.
Also, you can create a fake password to hide the real photos. If someone tries to log in with that pass it will show them different pictures and hide the others.
If you forget the code, the application lets you recover if you answer a security question.
Secret Calculator:
The name is not an error. This application is really a secret calculator. Secret Calculator disguises itself as a calculator to hide your files.
It saves photos, videos, music, and various types of files within the application itself. There is support for iCloud, Google Drive or Dropbox.
And, if you want, you can even make accounts in the app – as long as you don’t enter the app code.
Locker:
It is literally a padlock. You can save everything you want without any problem.
In addition to the usual, you can hide applications from the main screen and save them within this app’s library.
In terms of security, you can put a pin, use Face ID or Touch ID. However, to have all the features you have to pay a monthly fee.
You can hide photos within the photo app:
It may seem strange, but it is a possibility. If you don’t want to spend money on any new apps, you can hide them in the photo app itself.
The hidden album feature is not exactly hidden, but you can send the photos to this folder and no one will find it in the main library.
To hide any photo in the iPhone/iPad Photos app, simply:
- Go to the Photos app.
- Choose the photo you want to hide.
- Click on the options at the bottom left of the screen.
- Choose the “hide” option.
If you want no one to remember to go to that album while you’re using your iPhone, you can even add another level of “security”. For such:
- Go to your iPhone settings
- Select “Photos”
- Uncheck “Hidden album”
